  NOVEMBER 20, FRIDAY, 7:30 PM BARBARA KINGSOLVER at Bainbridge High School Gym! THE LACUNA Don’t miss this exceptional opportunity to welcome to first-time Bainbridge visitor Barbara Kingsolver! West Sound Reads—the alliance between independent bookstores in the Puget Sound area and the Kitsap Regional Library—brings the beloved author of Animal, Vegetable, Miracle to Bainbridge High School for a very special appearance on behalf of her new novel, seven years in the making. Well worth the wait for fans of her earlier fiction including Animal Dreams and The Poisonwood Bible, The Lacuna is set in the U.S. and Mexico during the 1930s, 40s and 50s, and includes real-life historical figures including Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, and Leon Trotsky. Purchase a copy The Lacuna from Eagle Harbor Book Co. or Liberty Bay Books to reserve two seats for this fabulous free event. Please note the special time and venue for this event. Doors will open at 6:30pm.  There will be priority seating in folding chairs on the floor for those who purchased their books in advance. An usher will take their ticket and escort them to the section.  If they prefer to sit in the bleachers they are welcome to. Reminder: tickets say be in your seat by 7.  At 7:10 we will open up unfilled seats in reserved area to the general public.
