When One Door Closes is a fascinating collection of true, short stories and poems written by 53 women. Their personal essays and poems focus on turning points in their lives or times when they found themselves on the threshold of major decision or a life changing event. These unique stories relate common connections among women. The book includes stories from women who have learned how to face transitions, to cope with loss, to forgive, to find love, and to let go. In the final analysis, these women discover their true selves and find peace within. This book will offer inspiration and hope to other women on their own life's journey.
In keeping with the spirit of this women’s anthology, the lead author is committing a portion of the proceeds from this book to FIVE non-profit women’s agencies that assist women on global, national and local fronts.
