Find Waldo in Downtown Winslow, Bainbridge Island!

Our bookstore will be hosting an exciting month-long scavenger hunt to find Waldo this July!  Waldo is turning twenty-five this year, and to celebrate, the famous fellow in the striped shirt and black-rimmed specs is visiting twenty local businesses all through the month of July. Those who spot him can win prizes at our Waldo party on July 31st, including buttons, books, and more. From Mora Ice Creamery to Paperoost, from Lollipops to B.I. Barkery, Waldo figures are showing up all along Winslow Way.

Anyone who wishes to participate can pick up a "Find Waldo on Bainbridge Island"search list with the names of all the businesses, and collect an "I Found Waldo at _______" card for each Waldo they spot.

Collecting cards at sixteen or more businesses and turning them in at Eagle Harbor Books will win a Waldo button (Waldo buttons are no longer available, however we do have a selection of buttons for kids to choose from) and an entry for other, larger prizes to be drawn at a Waldo party on July 31st. The Grand Prize is a complete six-volume set of Waldo books.

People who prefer a shorter version of the hunt can collect the cards from eight businesses and pick up a button at Eagle Harbor Books.
