The history of East Yorkshire is well documented, going back to 1919 when Ernest John Lee purchased a fourteen-seat Ford Model T bus for a service between Elloughton and Hull. Today, East Yorkshire is now a subsidiary of Go North East and part of the Go Ahead group – one of the UK’s largest passenger transport companies.Utilising previously unpublished photographs, documents the current state of this historic company. Every vehicle type and livery is featured here, as well as a wealth of interior and rear view photographs.
Lewis Welham has a lifelong passion for buses, ignited by regular bus trips around Hull and the Yorkshire coast as a child.
