Darryl Ponicsan (emeritus)

Darryl is the author of fourteen novels, including four mystery tales under the pen name Anne Argula and two that were made into feature films: The Last Detail (1971) and Last Flag Flying (2005). He has also written a number of produced Hollywood screenplays.  

Darryl, who is also an accomplished painter, is a Pennsylvania native who lived on Bainbridge in the 1990s and 2000s, presenting his film work at the Celluloid Bainbridge festival and speaking at the memorial service forauthor and island icon Jack Olsen. He now makes his home in Palm Springs, Calif.
