Elsa Watson is the author of the historical adventure-romance novels Maid Marian and The Other Elizabeth, along with several other works.
(Said one reviewer of Maid Marian: “Watson does an excellent job with the period details of life in the twelfth century and uses language that befits the time without being too full of ‘prithees’ and ‘verilys’ to read.”)
A Pacific Northwest native, Elsa started writing during a Peace Corps stint in Guinea-Bissau, a small African country. In 2001, she and her husband, current Bainbridge Island Mayor Kol Medina, moved to Bainbridge Island, and in 2004, Maid Marian was published.
