If you're a parent with young children, please join us for an author event with Dr. Sheila Kilbane. Her book Healthy Kids, Happy Moms: 7 Steps to Heal and Prevent Common Childhood Illnesses is a book that will give parents confidence in building a strategy for lifetime wellness. Sheila will be joined in conversation with her sister and Bainbridge Island educator Susan Kilbane.
Healthy Kids, Happy Moms helps readers:
-
Understand the role of systemic inflammation in their child's chronic conditions and rucurring flare-ups.
-
Identify the foods and ingredients that contribute to inflammation and illness, and the foods that support good health.
-
Develop a picky eater's palate to crave healthy foods.
-
And much more...
Healthy Kids, Happy Moms is for every mother who has ever looked at her child's pediatrician and asked, "Isn't there something else we can do for my child? Isn't there a better way?"
"Dr. Kilbane’s accurate nutrition information, along with clear, step-by-step guidance, makes this book an important asset for parents and healthcare practitioners.... [She] is right to focus on 'fixing' broken diets in childhood and at the level of family.” -David L. Katz, MD, MPH
